Question: Why are my graphics mods not working with FiveM?
Answer: The most likely cause of graphics mods not working is that they haven’t been relocated from the Grand Theft Auto V installation directory to the plugins directory of your FiveM installation.
To move your graphics mod files, you will need to find your FiveM directory:
The location of your FiveM install depends on how you installed and ran the client.
- If you installed and ran FiveM.exe in an empty folder, then the plugins folder will be located in the FiveM Application Data folder there.
- If you used another method, FiveM installs in the configured location for %localappdata% by default.
- To find your FiveM installation
- Press WinKey+R on your keyboard
- Type %localappdata%/FiveM in the dialog
- Press Enter to open the installation directory in Windows File Explorer
- The plugins directory will be located under the FiveM Application Data folder in the FiveM installation directory
If moving your graphics mods does not resolve the issue, check to make sure you have “NUI in-process GPU” setting disabled in your FiveM settings.
