Question: How do I publish a new version of an asset I have already uploaded to Portal?
Answer: Asset versioning lets you publish up to five versions of a single asset, each with its own version number and release notes.
To publish a new version, follow the steps below:
- Navigate to the asset
- Select Upload New Version +
- Upload your asset file
- Choose your asset version type (Full Release or Release Candidate/Beta)
- Portal will then auto-fill your supported game versions and asset versions based on your uploaded asset files
- Select Next
- Enter any release notes you wish to share
- Select Upload File
Note: You can publish a maximum of five versions per asset. If you have reached the five-version limit, you must delete an older version before publishing a new one.
