How to mark an asset version as a Release Candidate in Portal

Question: How do I mark a version of my asset as a Release Candidate? 

Answer: Marking a version as a Release Candidate lets users know the version is an early build that may require further work before it is fully polished. To mark a version as a Release Candidate, follow the steps below: 

  1. Either upload a new Created Asset or navigate to an existing asset 
  2. Select Upload or Upload New Version + (if updating an asset) 
  3. Upload your asset file 
  4. Set your asset type as Release Candidate/Beta

Note: A Release Candidate is intended for builds that are not yet finished. Users will see the Release Candidate marker before downloading the version and be warned that this version may not work as intended.
