Portal server registration key leaked on GitHub

Question: What can I do about my registration key leaking on GitHub?

Answer: If you have received an email saying your server registration key has been leaked on GitHub, it means your server registration key has been committed to a public GitHub repository by either you or someone you shared it with.

You can create a new server registration key for the server by doing the following: 

Regenerate your registration key

1. Visit the Portal Server Registration Keys page
   • https://portal.cfx.re/servers/registration-keys
2. Select the Server ID of the server registration key you wish to regenerate
3. Select Regenerate
4. Select Yes
   • Once regenerated, your server registration key is no longer at risk
5. Replace the compromised server registration key on your server’s config file with the new one
