Question: Whenever players attempt to join my FiveM / RedM server, they receive the following error. How do I fix this?
- Server artifact version is outdated
Answer: This error occurs when players attempt to connect to an outdated server. They may see a message saying that your platform version has reached end-of-support (EOS) or end-of-life (EOL).
If you are a player running into this error, please contact the server owner and notify them of the issue.
To fix these errors if you are a server owner, follow the steps below:
Update your server artifacts
For more information on updating your server artifacts, see the FiveM / RedM documentation on installing and updating your server.
Keep your server up to date
To guarantee the best level of stability, we discontinue support for issues with outdated server artifacts. We provide support as outlined below:
- Recommended artifacts are supported until six weeks after the next release
- Latest artifacts are supported until two weeks after the next release
Server owners should regularly update their server’s artifacts and keep them up to date.
Outdated server artifacts will not stop functioning; however, we will not provide support for them.
If you are experiencing issues, update to the most recent server artifacts before requesting support.
Unsupported server artifacts older than three months will not be joinable from the server browser.
